Parent company of Indian Gaming League (IGL), House of Gaming Pvt. Ltd., announced a strategic investment of $ 500,000 from Company Hungama and film and digital content company Hindustan Talkies.
The Mumbai-based startup intends to use the proceeds from its investment to acquire an increase in its audience and develop additional features to increase user engagement on its tournament platform. In addition, the Indian Gaming League will use some of its fresh capital to launch the first season of the Gaming League Championship Cup.
