The partnership between them will kick off with the third European Regional Qualifier on Saturday 20 February.

BBC iPlayer will broadcast every match live, streaming up to eight hours of FIFA content per day. The FIFA 21 Global Series will also be available on BBC iPlayer within 30 days of the end of the meetings.

In addition, it was announced that the broadcaster will air European regional qualifiers # 4 and # 5, which are expected to start in March and April respectively, with the aim of showing the European playoffs later.

Over the past 12 months, the BBC has been actively developing esports on its platforms, with the broadcaster recently broadcasting CS: GO and Rocket League tournaments, as well as showing last year's W Series.
