Riot Games does not disown its projects, constantly updating and expanding them. This also applies to the collectible card game in the League of Legends universe, Legends of Runeterra.
A major expansion called Empires of the Ascended is coming soon. It will tell you about the Shurima region and the people who inhabit it.
With the addition, 110 new cards will appear in the game. Of course, along with them, Shurima will be added to the already existing 8 regions.
