South Korean professional Fortnite player FaxFox has announced his retirement from battle royale. The former OP Gaming player shared the news on his Twitter.
The 19-year-old esportsman said he was losing motivation to compete and said that he “lacks the will and passion” that are necessary for a successful Fortnite career.
FaxFox was part of the OP Gaming team for 14 months from July 2018 to September 2019. He has been quite successful throughout his professional career and the news of his sudden retirement will surely take his fan base by surprise.
The competitive scene in Fortnite has been in a steady state of decline over the past few months due to the dwindling prize pool and the number of professionals retiring.
