WestBridge Capital leaves NODWIN Gaming Nazara Technologies
Indian gaming and sports media platform and NODWIN Gaming parent company Nazara Technologies Limited announced that Plutus Wealth Management LLP and its partners have acquired over $ 68.3 million in shares from a fund managed by WestBridge Capital. The deal marks the complete exit of WestBridge Capital from Nazara, an early investor in 2005.
The official announcement states that WestBridge Capital has invested a total of $ 3.1 million in Nazara Technologies and has received a sales reward of $ 136.7 million from its investment.
Nazara Technologies is an Indian gaming and sports media platform with a presence in India, Africa and North America. The company also owns a variety of assets, including the World Cup Cricket and CarromClash in mobile games, Kiddopia, NODWIN and Sportskeeda in eSports and cyber media and Halaplay and Qunami. Nazara Technologies has actively supported the Indian gaming ecosystem and has invested over $ 41 million over the past five years.
