This year's The Game Awards 2020 has deviated from established standards and surprised fans with some things. For example, Dota 2 did not make it to the best esports game of the year, which cannot be said about Valorant, but in the list of the best players in the world, s1mple lost its place to ZyWoo. League of Legends and Call of Duty have become the disciplines around which many finalists of various categories revolve.
