The esports organization in the United Arab Emirates has launched a franchise league in the field of esports called the E-Gaming League
The UAE Esports Federation and ITW Global have announced the creation of a unique esports league named the E-Gaming League (EGL), promising to become a major event in the world of electronic sports.
The inaugural season of EGL pledges to showcase a wide range of disciplines, including Dota 2 and PUBG, with qualification tournaments planned for each. Competitions will include a drafting stage, allowing participants to employ methods akin to those used in popular professional leagues like the NHL and NBA.
EGL intends to kick off with six franchise "team owners," drawing players from various parts of the world, including Europe, the Middle East, Asia, and North America. Organizers are committed to offering substantial prize money, emphasizing the allure of participation.
The first season is slated for April 2024, with preliminary events set to commence in February of the same year. This ambitious EGL esports league project aims to raise the bar in the realm of competitions and attract attention from players worldwide.
