Team Finest retires from esports and closes its rosters
The Israeli esports organization Team Finest has announced its retirement from esports and the closure of all of its rosters. In its appeal, the club announced the departure of the main investors, as well as the general economic situation in the world, which, probably, was the reason for the corresponding decision. It should be noted that the Israeli organization existed for three and a half years, having managed to attract huge investments in the amount of $10,000,000.
It is with a heavy heart, but after almost two years of successful esports operations and building a better brand and community, we are closing our professional esports operations. This was not something we envisioned a couple of weeks ago, but rather something that was forced on us after key investors withdrew from further investment in the company. This has all been driven by the macroeconomic situation the world is currently facing and the fact that owning an esports team is still a very speculative investment.
We want to thank our teams who have all worked very hard and taken real concrete steps forward in building a better brand. All the achievements and successes that we have enjoyed as a team are the result of collective hard work, and we want to thank them and appreciate all the efforts and hard work.
We deeply apologize for this unfortunate finale and also want to thank our dedicated fans who have supported us since day one of our journey. However, we are not giving up just yet and Team Finest is committed to continuing to operate in the gaming and esports industries and focus on technology, products and services.
During its existence, Team Finest has created CS:GO and VALORANT rosters. Despite the lack of significant success, the teams enjoyed a certain popularity. For example, such esportsmen as Nertz and flameZ managed to play for the CS:GO roster, while dimasick and bonkar played in the VALORANT division.
