Fans across the region who follow the broadcasts will be able to win a wide variety of prizes, including exclusive Maccas x Chiefs gear that will be unveiled on the show's opening day, August 21st.

Nick Bobir, CEO of The Chiefs Esports Club: "We worked with Macca at the start of the year on their first broadcast, so we're thrilled to be working with such a legendary partner again. Also, the opportunity to bring together incredible talent like Kitty and Midbeast, and Broadcasting them live from the Chiefs Country Club is an amazing opportunity and I'm excited to see how they fit into our League of Legends roster."

McDonald's has been building up its presence in esports for some time now. A few months ago, the fast food chain teamed up with Nicecactus to host a series of FIFA 22 tournaments.

Macca's becomes the sixth partner of Australian esports organization The Chiefs Esports Club, joining the likes of Westfield, Energizer, AndaSeat and L'Oréal Paris Men Expert.
