ESL Gaming is rebranding the National Championships tournament series
Esports company and tournament operator ESL Gaming has rebranded its National Championships series of national tournaments. Going forward, all ESL National Championships will have a new unified branding.
This means that all ten ESL National Championships will receive a visual overhaul consisting of a new logo and special templates. The goal of the rebrand is to better align the tournaments with the ESL global branding, which was last updated in 2019.
ESL's National Championships series is one of the longest running esports leagues in the world, having first started in 2002 in Germany. Along with this, there are nine more ESL-sanctioned national leagues in Australia, Benelux, France, Italy, Poland, Spain, Switzerland, Turkey and the UK that will receive branding updates. The leagues hold tournaments for various lbcwbgkbyfv, but the most common game is CS:GO.
Ulrich Schulze, Senior Vice President of Product Management at ESL Gaming: "With the new visuals, we are looking to strengthen the connection between the different levels of competition in our esports ecosystems and we can't wait for more amazing stories to unfold in the near future."
The new branding includes a new logo that now looks more like other ESL visual assets, as well as a camouflage pattern. According to ESL, the new design will allow the National Championships series to be more consistent with the ESL Gaming brand, but it also leaves "enough room for each region to adapt the design to their local symbolism."
The new branding is very similar to the recently revamped ESL One branding, with the logo having the same structure. However, it differs from some other ESL brands such as Intel Extreme Masters and ESL Pro League. The company has invested heavily in branding since updating its corporate identity and even created a "sound identity".
