Riot Games teams up with Amazon Web Services
Amazon Web Services and Riot Games have announced a partnership to create and distribute esports content through Amazon's cloud services. As part of the cooperation, the parties will promote and acquaint esports fans with various content in the League of Legends, VALORANT and League of Legends: Wild Rift disciplines.
In addition, as part of the deal, Riot Games will make Amazon Web Services the official provider of cloud artificial intelligence, cloud machine learning, cloud deep learning, and cloud services.

Riot Games is already using Amazon Web Services offerings in their games. In addition, the parties are working to improve their streaming of global esports events throughout each competitive season for LoL Esports, VALORANT Champions Tour, and Wild Rift Esports. As with the detailed statistics provided to the world's major sports leagues, Riot Games will leverage the service's wide range of cloud capabilities to provide new options for fans:
- World's first AWS esports statistics.
- AWS Global Power Rankings.
- Pick'em powered by AWS.

It is expected that the first fruits of cooperation between Amazon Web Services and Riot Games can be tracked in the fall at a joint hackathon.
