Team Liquid expands commercial offer in Brazil
European esports organization Team Liquid has announced the expansion of its commercial offering in Brazil by launching a standalone e-commerce platform. The new store will go live on June 24th, featuring a new collection of Team Liquid apparel featuring Fortnite content creators. At the same time, official production and logistics will be carried out by local suppliers.
Note that the Brazilian store has been in the plans of Team Liquid for more than a year. Back in January, Mike Milanov, director of business development at Team Liquid, anticipated in a YouTube video that the new platform would launch in 2022.
The launch of the Brazilian e-commerce platform will coincide with the upgrade of other Team Liquid stores in North America and Europe. According to the organization, local suppliers from Brazil have become part of the club's supply chain to reduce delivery times and support local sellers.
The organization also intends to build a training center in Sao Paulo, following the example of Team Liquid's other venues in Utrecht and Santa Monica. Other plans for the country include the localization of the Liquid+ platform for Q3 and participation in the Brasil Game Show.
Team Liquid entered the Brazilian scene in 2018 with Rainbow Six Siege and Free Fire rosters. Today, the organization also has a presence in the region across VALORANT and Fortnite.
