Team Liquid renews partnership with HyperX
The European esports organization Team Liquid has announced the renewal of a partnership agreement with the HyperX brand. As a result, HyperX will remain the official peripheral partner of Team Liquid. In addition, Team Liquid co-owner and content creator Hungrybox have become HyperX global ambassadors.
Stephanie Winkler, Chief Marketing Officer at HyperX: "HyperX is thrilled to renew our sponsorship with Team Liquid to support the growing esports organization and is equally excited to welcome Hungrybox to the HyperX family of brand ambassadors. We recognize Team Liquid's continued efforts to support the esports ecosystem of players, influencers faces and fans and inclusiveness for all, which aligns with HyperX's commitment to fueling the next generation of gamers and content creators."
As part of the partnership, HyperX will support Team Liquid tournaments, community initiatives, and content creation. The parties also announced that the upgrade to the deal will include an expanded focus on diversity and inclusion. As a result, HyperX will be supporting the club's all- female VALORANT team, as well as supporting the recently announced "Table Talks" podcast.
Juan DeBeidma, newly appointed HyperX Ambassador, joined Team Liquid last year alongside player Jonathan Jablonowski, WNBA star Arial Powers, streamer Lex and actor Asa Butterfield.
HyperX has a broad partnership strategy. Along with numerous other esports organizations, the brand is a longtime partner of Team Liquid. At the same time last summer, the brand was acquired by Hewlett Packard (HP) for $425 million.
