Sergey Glamazda stepped down as CEO of Virtus.pro
The Russian esports organization Virtus.pro announced the breakup with Sergey Glamazda, who has been the club's CEO since 2020. The club thanked the functionary for cooperation and wished him good luck in his future career.
Nikolai Petrosyan, CEO of ESforce Holding: "We are grateful to Sergey for his contribution, he brought a lot of new ideas to Virtus.pro and started their implementation. During the joint discussion, we came to the conclusion that now additional efforts are needed to systematize the work of Virtus. pro and solving problems that appeared in the spring of 2022. To do this, we decided to concentrate the management of the club in the hands of ESforce top managers, who see the whole picture of the holding's activities."
It is reported that under the leadership of Sergey, the organization entered the top five largest clubs in the world in terms of prize money, the Dota 2 roster took 5-6th place at The International 2021, and the CS:GO roster got into the TOP-10 of the best teams in the world and advanced to the PGL Major quarterfinals Stockholm 2021. In addition, the VP.Prodigy academy appeared from his hand and the teams started in new disciplines for the club, a number of successful transfers were implemented - outgoing and incoming.

At the same time, Virtus.pro abolished the position of the general manager of the club - from now on, the ESforce Holding management team will manage the strategic aspects of the activity.
