Royal Never Give Up partners with Wahaha
Chinese esports organization Royal Never Give Up has announced a partnership with local soft drink brand Wahaha. The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed, but the parties have already started promoting the Wahaha beverage line on their social media. It is reported that the agreement is designed for the organization's team in the League of Legends discipline.
Currently, Royal Never Give Up is preparing for the LPL Spring 2022 grand final, in which it will play with the winner of the Top Esports match - Victory Five. The winner of the LPL Spring Split will be eligible to play at the Mid-Season Invitational 2021 in Busan, South Korea in May.
Recall that the previous year was successful for the Royal Never Give Up teams, which became the winner of the Mid-Season Invitational 2021. This success probably served as a starting point for Wahaha to enter new esports markets. Moreover, the Chinese team can go to the upcoming Mid-Season Invitational 2022 if it becomes the champion of the LPL Spring 2022, and the coronavirus restrictions will allow it.
Note that the Chinese beverage brand Wahaha is also an official partner of the LPL.
