Infinite Reality on the verge of acquiring the Rogue organization
Infinite Reality, which specializes in creating metaverses, has reached an agreement to buy ReKTGlobal's holding company for $470 million in shares based on the company's equity valuation of $2 billion. Note that the holding owns the eSports teams Rogue and London Royal Ravens.
The deal, which is currently pending, sees Infinite Reality acquire all of ReKTGlobal's assets and brands, including two esports franchises, as well as numerous other company-owned businesses such as Greenlit Content, a content production agency specializing in games and esports, as well as TalentX Entertainment, a talent management company with many well-known content creators to its credit.
John Acunto, CEO of Infinite Reality: "We see this deal as a way to take all of ReKTGlobal's amazing businesses and strengthen them and create connections with other businesses that we have. And you know, today it looks like it's all separate pieces like they are work? Believe it or not, they all become one community in the metaverse, and they all work in related ways."
Recall that in January 2022, Bloomberg reported on the possible entry of ReKTGlobal into the stock market through a merger with Bull Horn Holdings Corp, but the deal did not take place.
The Rogue organization is currently represented in the League of Legends, Rainbow Six, Rocket League, and Fortnite disciplines. In addition, ReKTGlobal owns the London Royal Ravens franchise.
