ESL Gaming expands partnership with Monster Energy
Tournament operator ESL Gaming has expanded its existing partnership with US energy drink brand Monster Energy.
As part of the updated deal, Monster Energy will reportedly support mobile esports. The financial details of the agreement were not disclosed. In addition, Monster Energy will continue to partner with ESL events for CS:GO, Dota 2 and other disciplines.
Craig Levin, Co-CEO of ESL Gaming: "We are thrilled to expand our portfolio partnership with Monster Energy. Their ongoing commitment makes them a leading supporter of global esports and helps us continue to delight fans across our many world-class disciplines."
Renewed partnership between ESL Gaming and Monster focuses on the Snapdragon Pro League. The company will also continue to be a sponsor of CS:GO Hub, an analytics platform owned by ESL Gaming.
Dan McHugh, CEO of Monster Energy: "Our partnership with DreamHack and now ESL Gaming makes this one of the longest and most successful partnerships in the esports and gaming industry. Just like we have developed many of our other major partnerships, we will also continue to develop top tier esports tournaments, mobile esports, DreamHack festivals and even retail partners."
Recall that the parties signed a global partnership agreement last year, while the brand itself has been a partner of DreamHack events since 2014.
