Alexander T. Müller, CEO of SK Gaming: "As a Cologne-based company, the partnership with REWE is of course close to our hearts. We look forward to working together in the future and are confident that we can turn to a strong regional and national partner with great experience in the catering industry that also shares a love for 1. FC Köln ".

REWE is one of the largest supermarket chains in Germany with nearly 4,000 stores nationwide. REWE is also a sponsor of the FC Cologne esports team and supports a number of esports tournaments and activations for the German football club. The REWE logo is also featured on the jersey of FC Cologne's esports and football teams.

Lionel Suk, CEO of the REWE Group: “We are delighted that we, as a Cologne-based company, are taking the next step in our esports activities with SK Gaming Cologne and that we can further expand the competencies we have acquired in esports with this strong partner. "

This is not the first time SK Gaming has partnered with a retail store. Earlier this year, SK Gaming announced a partnership with Lidl, with the supermarket chain becoming a "fresh food partner" of the esports organization.
