Fnatic Announces Partnership With New York Tech

British esports organization Fnatic has announced a partnership with New York Tech. As part of the collaboration, the parties will work together on research related to eSports performance.

NYC Tech will partner with Fnatic to investigate the benefits of upper and lower body compression sleeves for esports athletes. The collaboration will result in two studies, one for the upper body and one for the lower body. The study is expected to last six months.

As a reminder, Fnatic's performance division was first launched in December 2020. The main goal of the project is to improve Fnatic players by achieving the ultimate performance improvement.

The first study on the upper body will investigate the potential benefits of compression sleeves. The lower body research will focus on whether sleeves help improve blood flow and reduce health risks in professional players.

Note that New York Tech has a dedicated eSports program and offers a variety of eSports-based career paths. New York Tech also has its own esports team and a dedicated esports medicine center.
