Champria startup raised $ 1 million in investments
Esports startup Champria has announced a $ 1 million investment led by the Kickstart Fund, a venture capital fund based in the United States. In addition to the Kickstart Fund, the startup's investors include Arrowhead Innovation Fund from New Mexico, Gokul Rajaram and David Carrico.
Founded in 2020, Champria focuses on a suite of technologies that help players find teams and improve their skills. The company uses patented technology to connect esports players through recruiting, scrimmage and team management.

According to the press release, the goal of the investment is to drive Champria's growth, expand into new esports disciplines and increase headcount. The company also strives to strengthen its partnerships and work on more events.
Since January, the company has registered over 2,000 teams and has nearly 10,000 scheduled matches in the Rocket League and Overwatch.
