Step announces partnership with Bugha
Financial solutions provider Step has announced a partnership with Bugha, the Sentinels' Fortnite player.
According to the press release, Bugha will also become an investor in the company. The agreement will be aimed at giving gamers access to financial products, intended for gaming purchases and management of winnings in eSports.
Bugha: “When I first got into esports, I ran into a lot of hurdles as equipment cost over $ 1,000 and winnings were usually distributed through platforms that required you to be at least 18 years old, like PayPal. Esports as an industry is not well suited for teens so I'm thrilled to partner with Step to make it accessible to more people and give every teenage gamer access to the financial tools they need. "
Each Bugha live broadcast will feature a $ 5,000 prize pool and a personal scholarship. What's more, fans will also have the opportunity to play alongside Bugha.
Throughout the partnership, the 2019 Fornite World Cup champion will discuss topics such as financial instruments, education, and gaming experience.
