CSL Esports becomes a partner with Monster Energy
Tournament organizer CSL Esports has announced a partnership with energy drink brand Monster Energy for NACE Starleague. CSL Esports' partnership with Monster Energy is specifically targeted at the Canadian market.
Through the partnership, Monster Energy Canada will become the exclusive energy product and sponsor of all Canadian events for the 2021-22 NACE Starleague season. In addition, the deal will include any initiatives related to U SPORTS Gaming, Canada's national college sports brand.
Launched in July this year, NACE Starleague claims to be the largest student eSports league in North America, with more than 14,500 students from 600 colleges and universities competing for various trophies. There are currently 35 Canadian schools, however CSL Esports has identified the country as a hub for esports, especially with companies like OverActive Media investing in the region.
NACE Starleague is currently in the middle of the competition and the league's regular season is due to end on November 5th.
