Strategy (formerly MicroStrategy) Plans to Raise Up to $44 Billion Through New ATM Programs for Massive Bitcoin Accumulation

Strategy Inc. (formerly MicroStrategy), the world’s largest corporate Bitcoin holder, has submitted new filings to the SEC to expand its capital-raising programs. According to Wu Blockchain and the official documents, Strategy is launching fresh at-the-market (ATM) offerings:

• Up to $21 billion in Class A common stock (MSTR);
• Up to $21 billion in Variable Rate Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock (STRC);
• Up to $2.1 billion in STRK preferred stock.

The total potential new funding reaches nearly $44 billion. The company also increased authorized STRC shares to 282.6 million and reduced STRK shares to 40.3 million. As always, the proceeds will be primarily directed toward purchasing additional Bitcoin and general corporate purposes.

This continues Michael Saylor’s legendary “21/21 Plan,” which envisions raising $21 billion through equity and another $21 billion through preferred instruments over three years. Following the rebranding from MicroStrategy to Strategy in 2025, the company now officially positions itself as the “#1 Bitcoin Treasury Company in the World.”

As of March 2026, Strategy already holds 762,099 BTC at an average acquisition price of approximately $75,694 per coin. The company recently purchased another 1,031 BTC over the past week and is steadily progressing toward its ambitious goal of 1 million BTC by the end of 2026.

“Strategy announces new $21 Billion $STRC ATM Program and new $21 Billion $MSTR ATM Program,” commented Michael Saylor.

The market reacted positively: MSTR shares rose after the announcement, while the crypto community is actively discussing the next wave of “dilution” in exchange for explosive growth in Bitcoin holdings. Analysts believe this strategy creates a powerful flywheel effect: BTC price increase MSTR stock appreciation, easier capital raising, even more Bitcoin.

This is one of the most aggressive corporate Bitcoin accumulation plans in history.
