Trust Wallet Launches P2P Service for Cryptocurrency Trading in Over 150 Countries
The popular non-custodial cryptocurrency wallet Trust Wallet has announced the launch of its built-in P2P service, enabling users to buy and sell crypto directly from other users using local currencies and payment methods. This feature is now available in more than 150 countries worldwide, making crypto more accessible to millions, especially in developing regions.
According to the official announcement on the X platform, Trust Wallet's P2P is a convenient way to fund your wallet, where users can select verified sellers in their region and use familiar payment options like bank transfers or mobile wallets. The service supports over 95 fiat currencies, including INR (Indian Rupee), USD, EUR and GBP, as well as local currencies in supported regions such as India, Ghana, Pakistan, and Indonesia.
The P2P feature operates on the Binance Connect infrastructure, positioning Trust Wallet as an intermediary for Binance's P2P trading. To use the service, users need a Binance account, but the wallet remains non-custodial - users retain full control over their keys and assets. This integration provides competitive rates and fast transactions directly within the Trust Wallet app.
To use P2P, users should open the Trust Wallet app, go to the "Fund" section, select P2P, choose a token and currency, and then confirm the transaction. The service emphasizes security by utilizing verified sellers and local payment methods.
This launch is part of Trust Wallet's strategy to make cryptocurrency accessible to everyone, regardless of location or payment method. Acquired by Binance in 2018, Trust Wallet is now trusted by over 210 million users worldwide.
