Chiliz 2.0 at a low start
Alexander Dreyfus, CEO of Socios and Chiliz, took to Twitter to announce that Chiliz 2.0 will launch very soon. The Chiliz blockchain is different from all other cryptocurrency networks because its specificity is very different from the usual blockchains.
Chiliz concentrates on the sports and entertainment industry. It is in this network that fan tokens of various football clubs, eSports organizations and other companies that are somehow connected with the industry of competitive disciplines are sold and bought.
According to Dreyfus, Chiliz 2.0 will give users something that the blockchain was not able to provide initially. According to him, there will be the possibility of full-fledged staking of coins, a decentralized exchange, a new standard for NFT tokens, the possibility of certification of memorabilia, new fan tokens, the implementation of whitelisting and other features that were not previously in the previous version of Chiliz.
2 days ago Chiliz talked about the launch of Spicy Testnet. The blockchain testnet was supposed to improve the overall security and performance of the known blockchain. Chiliz 2.0 will have to acquire the features that the Spicy Testnet demonstrates. Ultimately, the Spicy Testnet will have to become a full replacement for the Scoville Testnet, provided in March last year. Then the testnet was shown immediately after the announcement of Chiliz 2.0.
While the Spicy Testnet can fully replace the Scoville Testnet, the developers plan to keep both versions of the network for a while. This will be needed in order to conduct a full network test.
According to the developers, Chiliz Chain 2.0 can provide new opportunities for esports and sports clubs to create their own NFT tokens and fan coins. In addition, games running on the Play2Earn model may even appear on the network. Chiliz 2.0, according to the creators of the blockchain, can enable organizations to hold events and launch loyalty programs.
Chiliz 2.0 will run on an unusual Proof of Staked Authority algorithm. The fork is being developed in collaboration with Ankr and will be compatible with the Ethereum Virtual Machine, allowing for some interoperability with Ethereum networks.
