Minister in Ukraine wants to be paid in e-hryvnia

Mikhail Fedorov, Minister of Digital Transformation of Ukraine intends to become one of the first full-fledged users of digital currency in Ukraine. During the World Economic Forum, Fedorov said that he wanted to receive his wages in e-hryvnia.

He also said that the ministry is cooperating with Steallar and one of the private banks regarding the sale of the electronic hryvnia. With what exactly he did not specify, but according to some assumptions, we are most likely talking about the bank "Tascombank".

The recently published results regarding testing the issuance of electronic money in the Stellar network can serve as almost irrefutable arguments in favor of the latter.

Fedorov reports that in 2024 we will be able to see “large-scale pilots” from the National Bank of Ukraine using the electronic hryvnia.

Michael summed it up:

I plan to become the first e-hryvnia tester and start getting paid in it.

In addition, the Minister of Digital Transformation noted in a special way that Ukraine is working on the issue of legalizing the cryptocurrency market in the country. He also said that the ministry is working here and now, and not waiting for the end of the war.
