Arbitrum Nova is now available on OpenSea
The developers of the world's largest marketplace for the purchase and sale of NFT tokens announced the addition of new functionality. Now those who like to collect non-fungible tokens will have the opportunity to interact with the Arbitrum Nova blockchain.
The main feature of Nova, which is a layer 2 blockchain, was the availability of NFT tokens at relatively low prices. Once OpenSea decides to integrate Arbitrum Nova into its platform, users will be able to afford to buy cheaper NFT tokens compared to those sold from the Ethereum realm.
On September 21, the first version of Arbitrum was added to OpenSea. Now OpenSea has decided that users need to have access to 2 solutions from blockchain developers Offchain Labs. OpenSea was informed that at the moment the Arbitrum Nova collections will appear on the site, but for now they will be in the same group as regular Arbitrum tokens. Later they will add filtering so that users can distinguish between Arbitrum and Arbitrum Nova.
Arbitrum Nova is supported not only on OpenSea. Previously, token trading platforms such as Trove, Babylons, and ToFu have added such functionality to themselves. However, given the large market share OpenSea occupies, this is where Arbitrum solution support 2 can be popularized. It is noteworthy that the placement of points tokens on the reddit forum is also carried out on the Arbitrum Nova blockchain.
Due to the fact that Arbitrum Nova appeared relatively recently, it did not have time to gain popularity. At the moment, only about $890,000 is recorded in this blockchain.
