There are more long-term holders of the Shiba Inu memtoken

In 2022, the positions of one of the main Shiba Inu memtokens were significantly reduced. If at the beginning of the year the tokens were traded at $0.000033 apiece, then at the time of writing the cost of one Shiba Inu is $0.000008315. This is 75% less than at the beginning of 2022.

However, even though the coin has big problems, just like the entire cryptocurrency market, analysts from Coinbase provided statistics according to which the number of long-term Shiba Inu investors has become 10% more than before.

This suggests that although there are fewer adherents of the meme token, they are more confident in the growth of the coin in the future and consider their investments as long-term.

According to what Coinbase showed, the average number of days a Shiba Inu depositor holds is 213. According to an infographic provided by IntoTheBlock, there has been a 10.29% increase in crypto market participants opting for a memtoken over the past month. The total number of Shiba Inu holders currently stands at 718,630 wallets.

At the same time, it is important to note that there are significantly fewer short-term and medium-term investors. Depositors who brought Shiba Inu to the finance less than a month after the deposit decreased by 29.6%. The number of investors keeping their funds in SHIB for 1-12 months decreased by 9.6%. There are approximately 446,120 long-term investors and 56,900 traders in the SHIB ecosystem who engage in speculative buying and selling.
