The Sandbox will launch a car tuning contest
One of the pillars on which the world of NFT gaming stands, The Sandbox announced the launch of a new Pimp My Ride event, which will be a collaboration with Dreaming Cars. This brings the iconic NFT car collection to The Sandbox, created with the help of the French racing car company Beltoise.
Starting October 24, members of The Metaverse have been able to customize and modify their vehicle vehicles using the VoxEdit in-game tool. The top players will have the opportunity to compete against other opponents for prizes, and will also be able to earn the right to show off their designs in the competition for the coolest cars in this metaverse.
According to the creators of The Sandbox, this event is aimed at introducing new fun and useful events, as well as allowing players to complete new quests, expand their collection and take part in new games and competitions. In other words, the developers want to diversify the existing content in the game and the field of cars there will have to reach a whole new level.
The VoxEdit contest aims to reveal the creativity of users of The Sandbox universe. The latter will be able to realize their potential in tuning their vehicles. The developers have tried to refine the VoxEdit editor in such a way that fans of the fleet are not infringed and give full play to their ambitions. Users will be able not only to engage in such activities, but also, competing with each other, share the total prize pool of 15,000 SAND tokens, as well as distribute new NFTs from the Dreaming Cars collection among each other. The latter will go to the winners of the competition.
Competitors will need to meet the following requirements:
- Models created must be original
- Models must have no more than 5,000 surfaces and 175 nodes
- The maximum file size must not exceed 512 voxels in height, and the floor print must not exceed 512x512x512 voxels
- The model must not contain sexual, racist, homophobic or other such content
Low-quality models and those that fall under the concept of “spam” will also be disqualified
The voting process for the best models will begin on November 7 after the deadline for applications. Users will be able to vote for certain models until November 20, after which the project administration will count votes for 5 days. November 26
