OpTic Gaming and FaZe Clan joined WESA
The World eSports Association has informed about OpTic Gaming to join as a full member of the community. Besides this, it has also become known that FaZe Clan, who had left WESA in 2016, have decided to return to the roster of the organization. OpTic Gaming has followed in SK Gaming’s and Renegades’ footsteps, which had joined WESA at the end of March. The comment of the OpTic Gaming owner, Hector Rodriguez:
«We share the same vision as WESA and its membership to professionalise the esports industry.We look forward to working with the organisation and our fellow Members on advancing the progress that they have already made.»
The comment of the FaZe Clan captain, Finn «Karrigan» Andersen:
«We have been impressed by WESA’s growth and impact on the industry since the organization’s founding, from hiring a professional Commissioner to adding more North American teams, as well as introducing key regulations.We look forward to FaZe Clan being an active member of WESA to help continue to grow the esports industry.»
