PGL can transfer CS: GO Major to Romania

According to rumors, PGL have already held negotiations and will transfer PGL Major 2021 from Sweden to Romania. Thus, Stockholm was left without major tournaments this year, although it had all the chances to become the "esports capital".

Previously, The International 10 was supposed to take place in Stockholm, but due to difficult negotiations, Valve, together with PGL, decided to stop at Romania, and specifically Bucharest. After the postponement of TI10, doubts about PGL Major 2021: Stockholm immediately began to appear and, apparently, they were justified.

The manager of Ninjas in Pajamas - Anton Fagerhem noted that PGL did not want to continue negotiations with the politicians of Sweden and the decision on the new location - Romania - had already been made. The Swedish authorities refused to accommodate tournament operators and lost major CS: GO and Dota 2 tournaments.

PGL Major 2021 is scheduled to take place from October 23 to November 7. By the way, The International 10 will be held from October 7 to 17 in Bucharest, Romania.
