Olofmeister retired?
On their Twitter account, FaZe Clan announced the departure of Olof 'olofmeister' Kaibier to inactive. It has been repeatedly reported in the media space that the cybersportsman wants to end his career, which Marcelo 'coldzera' David recently told about. The Swedish player lost his motivation to play CS: GO, and therefore he was about to retire. Olof himself so far claims that he will take a break to understand what he wants and where to move on, but many are sure that he will not appear on the professional scene as a player.
The olofmeister path, together with FaZe Clan, started in August 2017. Then he helped the team take second place at ELEAGUE Major 2018, after which he won several major championships, including ELEAGUE CS: GO Premier 2017, ESL One New York 2017, ECS Season 4 and EPICENTER 2018.
Over the course of his career, the Swedish esportsman has almost reached the $ 900,000 in prize money earned, which makes him one of the most successful CS: GO players in the history of the discipline. In 2016, Olof was named the best CS: GO player of 2015 by the HLTV portal.
There is currently no information about who will replace the player in the squad. Markus 'Kjaerbye' Kjerbay was recently transferred to the reserve.
