Rumor: StarLadder will abandon its own broadcast studio
The editorial staff of the Cybersport.ru portal, referring to their sources, claims that StarLadder has no caster left in its assets. Commentators and analysts have ended their contracts with the organization, and it appears to be ditching its own broadcasting studio.
According to the available information, the people who worked in the CS: GO studio of StarLadder have not signed any contracts yet, but some of them may move to the ranks of Maincast and work for the benefit of the latter.
Representatives of the Maincast company said that they do not conduct any negotiations with casters who have valid contracts, and StarLadder, in turn, declined to comment on this issue.
Last year, SL commentators and analysts took part in Maincast's broadcasts as rented casters.
StarLadder is a company founded in February 2012. The tournament operator has held championships in various eSports disciplines over the years. StarLadder Berlin Major 2019, which was held by the company, became the last Major championship held in CS: GO.
