Official CS: GO servers to appear in Russia?
On his Twitter-account datamayner Dzhundik Paul wrote that he had found in the database Steam information on new Moscow server the CS: the GO.
At the moment, Valve has not yet commented on the situation in any way and has not announced the creation of servers in Russia.
Important note: according to Pavel, this server will not be a real device, but a virtual game network of Valve like Steam Relay. A description in Steamworks explains how the system helps players reduce ping. Dzhundik does not exclude the fact that later Valve will be able to put real servers in Moscow to help Russian players, but this could be prevented by the Yarovaya package, which requires storing voice and text messages. Recall that it is for this reason that Riot Games does not give players from Russia access to voice chat in League of Legends.
This is not the first time Pavel Dzhundik has shared such information related to Valve and their games. Earlier, he, referring to the lines of code, told about that. that shaders and ray tracing technology may appear in Artifact.
