Twistzz joined FaZe Clan
Former Team Liquid player and North American legionnaire Russell 'Twistzz' Van Dalken is the newest player for FaZe Clan. In the updated roster, he took the place of Markus 'Kjaerbye' Kierbay.
The 21-year-old eSports player left Liquid at the end of last year after playing the final against Astralis as part of the Intel Extreme Masters Global Challenge 2020. Then his team was defeated, and with the departure of Twistzz the vacant place was filled by Gabriel 'FalleN' Toledo.
In the new team, the Canadian esportsman hopes to get back into the form he was in when he was able to win MVP medals and enter the top 20 players of 2018 and 2019. Over the past two years, Twistzz, together with Team Liquid, have managed to win many major championships.
The arrival of Russell Van Dalken to the team marked the beginning of a change in the roster. The team has not yet acquired a permanent in-game leader, and after NiKo's departure, the role of IGL is still occupied by the Brazilian coldzera. According to Marcelo 'coldzera' David, olofmeister intends to retire soon, and therefore most likely the new team coordinator will take the place of the Swedish legionnaire.
All the latest rumors tell us that Finn 'karrigan' Andersen from mousesports can be expected among the FaZe Clan. His contract will expire in March, after which he will presumably move into the ranks of the FaZe Clan, and olofmeister will retire.
Updated FaZe Clan roster:
- Håvard "rain" Nygaard
- Marcelo "coldzera" David
- Helvijs "broky" Saukants
- Olof "olofmeister" Kajbjer
- Russel "Twistzz" Van Dulken
- Markus "Kjaerbye" Kjærbye (benched)
