ESIC issued a new batch of bans
Integrity Commission eSports banned 35 Australian cyber competitions ESL DreamHack and ESEA for a period of 1-5 years. The reason for the ban was their betting game, as it became known on ESIC's Twitter account.
The ESL Commission, DreamHack and ESEA helped them investigate the case. The regulations of the championships of the aforementioned tournaments indicate that esports players are prohibited from placing bets on matches in championships that are supported by the ESIC commission, as well as betting on the victory or defeat of their own team. All banned players violated one of these rules.
List of punished players
Recently, ESIC revisited their decision to ban NiP mentor Farouk 'pita' Pita from participating in championships for using a coaching bug. According to him, the Swede will be able to continue working on March 13.
