Eden Esports will host CS: GO championships

Eden Esports and Fantasyexpo gaming agency announced the joint holding of five CS: GO championships called the European Development Championship.

At the moment, it is not yet known how the slots will be distributed in the tournament. Regional broadcast studios will determine this moment later. They will be able to arrange a qualifying stage for several teams and play invites there, or they can, at their discretion, issue direct invitations to some teams. It is noteworthy that in addition to the prize money, the winners will also have the opportunity to hold an interesting bootcamp in one of the hotels in Malta.

16 teams will take part in the main events. The fate of 12 slots will be determined by local studios, as mentioned above, and the remaining 4 places will be taken by the best participants in the open qualifiers. The first of them will take place from 14 to 15 November and from 21 to 22 November. The first European Development Championship starts on the 30th. The winner will claim $ 17,500 and a bootcamp at one of the Maltese hotels.
