CS2 Pro Banned for 10 Years After On-Stage Attack — Major Esports Scandal

The German esports scene has been rocked by a major controversy, as player MAUschine has been handed one of the most severe bans in recent history following an on-stage altercation.

The incident occurred after the grand final of CAGGTUS Leipzig, where MAUschine physically struck an opponent. Following an official investigation, tournament organizers DACH CS Masters and Fragster imposed a 10-year ban, effectively sidelining the player from the competitive scene in the region.

This punishment goes far beyond a standard suspension. It blocks participation in key tournaments across Germany for an entire decade. Furthermore, the case has been escalated to the Esports Integrity Commission (ESIC), raising the possibility of additional sanctions on a global level.

Physical violence is extremely rare in professional Counter-Strike, which makes the severity of the response unsurprising. The ruling reinforces a strict zero-tolerance stance on aggression, sending a clear message about conduct standards in esports.
