Extremely Rare AK-47 Skin Sold for Over $1 Million!

Recently, one of the rarest skins for the AK-47, "Case Hardened" with pattern 661 and a StatTrak kill counter, was sold. The owner confirmed that an undisclosed buyer purchased the skin for over $1 million.

Initially, the item was valued at $2 million, but the price was later reduced to $1.5 million. According to a representative of the former owner on social network X, previous offers of $1 million were declined. However, the skin was temporarily loaned to Danil "donk" Kryshkovets from Team Spirit.

The exact sale amount remains undisclosed, but it is estimated to be between $1.2 million and $1.5 million.

This sale became the largest in CS2 history, at least among publicly announced transactions. For comparison, in April 2023, a similar skin with four holographic Titan stickers and a "Case Hardened" karambit knife were sold to a collector from China for $500,000.
