Nouns Faces Leadership Void as Bobby "stamina" Eitrem Departs
The Nounsesports team has announced the departure of Bobby "stamina" Eitrem, marking the end of the 24-year-old's second stint with the organization. His tenure lasted slightly over a month.
In a prior period from December to February, stamina had been a part of Nouns for three months. During this time, the team faced challenges as they fell short of qualifying for the ESL Pro League Season 17 and IEM Rio.
Upon his recent return to the team, he joined them in a European bootcamp alongside Eric "adreN" Hoag. This was followed by their participation in CCT 2023 Online Finals 2, during which they secured a victory against Sojoga but faced losses against Apeks and Bad News Eagles.
The departure of stamina presents Nouns with the task of finding a new in-game leader and AWPer. He had temporarily filled the AWPer role after stepping in for David "cynic" Polster, who had been released from the team unexpectedly in June.
With ESL Challenger League Season 46 set to kick off on August 15 and an invitation to compete in the IEM Sydney NA closed qualifier on August 24-25, Nouns has a tight window to secure a replacement for stamina.
The current roster for Nouns includes:
- Brendan "Bwills" Williams (United States)
- Carson "nosraC" O'Reilly (United States)
- Christopher "cJ" Jones (United States)
- Edgar "MarKE" Maldonado (Mexico)
Kory "SEMPHIS" Friesen (Canada) serves as the team's coach.
