CS2 users encountered a significant number of VAC bans, most likely made in error

On December 5th, Valve, the developer of the game CS2, implemented a block on over 2,000 players by issuing VAC bans. This marked the largest wave of bans in the past two weeks.

Immediately after this, Reddit forums were flooded with threads dedicated to complaints about the developer's actions. Users claimed that the bans they received were issued in error as they had never used cheats or prohibited software.

The majority of players criticized Valve, stating that the company had banned everyone except the actual rule-breakers. They expressed hope that the developers would lift the bans in the very near future. As of now, representatives from the studio have not responded to these complaints.

Previously, in CS2, Valve had introduced improvements to sub-ticks and animations. Additionally, developers made minor alterations to the maps, such as introducing visible boundaries for bomb placement on the Mirage map.
