Buzz has officially joined Astralis
The Danish esports organization Astralis has completed its CS:GO roster by signing a contract with Buzz. A 19 year old Dane joins the team to take MistR's place. In turn, the now former understudy returns to the youth team of the club, where he will continue to play next season.
I am very happy and really proud. I studied and respected the Astralis players for several years, and in many ways it shaped me as a player. The fact that I can now call myself an Astralis player on a team with several of those players and in the role I've always envisioned is just crazy cool.
Over the past few months I have had several conversations with casle and Kasper Hvidt. They know what kind of player they are acquiring and I know that I am joining a team and organization that is willing to invest in whatever it takes to get back to the top. When I first pulled a red t-shirt over my head for our photo shoot, it was a very special feeling and I knew how much it meant. There is a lot to be proud of in Astralis, but we lacked results and I hope I can help bring them back.
Buzz spent the second half of the current season with MASONIC, where he moved in August from the ex-MAD Lions. In five months, the 19-year-old Dane helped the team win Dust2.dk Ligaen Season 21, as well as reach the finals of the Pelaajat.com Nordic Masters: Fall 2022 and Energive Cup.
Note that the day before the Danish club approved castle as a permanent head coach.
The next championship for the Danish team is ESL Pro League Season 17, since Astralis did not receive an invite to the tournament in Katowice. However, we will surely see the team at one of the upcoming BLAST tournaments.
