k0nfig confirmed conflict with analyst at IEM Cologne 2022
k0nfig, a former Astralis player, confirmed a conflict with an analyst at IEM Cologne 2022. The 25-year-old Danish esportsman announced this on his personal Twitter page.
I stopped drinking and talk to a psychologist weekly to get back on track and become who I really am. I sincerely regret my actions and I am disgusted by my own actions. It feels like I'm sinking deeper and deeper. I'm going to flip it now.
I can confirm that this did indeed happen and it escalated into something that shouldn't have happened. We discussed and decided. I did not threaten anyone or show aggression towards either the hotel staff or the ESL staff. I don't know what to say, to be honest. I'm working on myself. I'm so guilty
Recall that this morning the Jaxon portal published information according to which k0nfig was involved in a conflict with an analyst during IEM Cologne 2022. It is reported that during the championship, the Dane had a conflict with an unnamed analyst who worked in the event lighting studio. Immediately after the start of the incident, the hotel staff called the organizers of the championship and the police. However, they managed to close the grudges the next day.
Astralis announced last week that they were parting ways with k0nfig. During the eleven months spent at the club, the 25-year-old Dane helped the team get into the TOP-3 at BLAST Premier: Fall Finals 2021, BLAST Premier: Spring European Showdown 2022, Pinnacle Cup Championship 2022, Roobet Cup 2022 and Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Cologne.
