MIBR announces parting ways with chelo
The Brazilian esports organization MIBR has announced changes to its CS:GO roster, parting ways with chelo. According to rumors, the 24-year-old Brazilian player will continue his career in Imperial Esports. The parties managed to agree on the details of the transfer, while the ransom amount will be $200,000.
Today is the day to say goodbye to chelo. We have had many ups and downs together, but we are sure that there was no lack of will, racing and screaming. Shout, chelo! (But now against us). Good luck and know you have family here!
chelo has spent the last year and a half with MIBR. During this time, the 24-year-old Brazilian player helped the team win CBCS Elite League Season 1, ESEA Season 39: Advanced Division - North America, ESL Challenger League Season 40: North America and ESL Pro League Conference Season 16, as well as reach the final at CBCS Finals 2021 and PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR.
It is interesting that the esportsman managed to try on the role of the team captain, since in the spring MIBR announced the breakup with WOOD7 and reshuffled duties.
According to the latest rumors, the Brazilian organization MIBR managed to find a replacement for chelo - the team is close to signing a contract with HEN1. Recall that in March, the 27-year-old Brazilian sniper joined the GODSENT roster, which broke up a few months later. The signing of HEN1 will result in a major role change in MIBR. It is likely that brnz4n will give up his role as a sniper in order to take over other duties. However, it is not clear who will become the new captain of the Brazilian five.
The nearest championship for the Brazilian team will be ESL Challenger League Season 42: North America, which will start next week. At the same time, MIBR will begin its journey as part of the open qualifiers for the American RMR tournament.
From now on, the MIBR CS:GO roster is as follows:
- exit
- Tuurtle
- JOTA
- brnz4n
- BIT (head coach)
The likely roster of Imperial Esports in CS:GO is as follows:
- FalleN
- fer
- chelo
- boltz
- VINI
- peacemaker (head coach)
