The authors of Tuscan left a reference to ace Edward from CS 1.6
CS:GO players tribute to the Ukrainian Edward from the authors of the Tuscan map. The creators did not forget to add to the game a reference to the legendary murder of five USP players. All of the killings were by headshots.
The reference was made in the form of bottles of wine, which are stored in one of the boxes located on the Tuscan map. The bottles are located in the same place where the Ukrainian player, playing for Natus Vincere, made the legendary ace. The labels on the bottles are made in the form of a variation of the headshot icon in Counter-Strike, and the name of the wine is “USP Special” with the inscription “USP ACE” on the bottom.
Ioann 'Edward' Sukharev was one of the members of the legendary gold roster of Natus Vincere in CS 1.6. In 2010, the team took part in the Arbalet Best of Four Cup 2010 championship, where the most famous moment with Edward happened in the match against Fnatic. Sukharev in the pistol round quickly went to the middle position between points B and A, which is located at the exit from the terrorists' respawn and caught unsuspecting enemies there. He managed to finish this round in a matter of seconds with five headshots. After that moment and others like it, the esports community gave Edward the nickname Pistol King. The ability to shoot with pistols has always plunged enemies into fear and helped NaVi win various trophies.
Yesterday it became known about the appearance of Tuscan in the Steam Workshop in the CS:GO section. Since August 8, there have been talks about the appearance of Tuscan in the official map pool and about the map, which can be replaced by a new battlefield in CS:GO.
