Cloud9 Academy roster unveiled
The North American esports organization Cloud9 has unveiled its CS:GO youth roster. The notorious F_1N, who previously coached the main team, will lead and manage the project.
We are happy to announce that Cloud9 will be represented on the CS:GO scene by another team. The academy included five young players led by F_1N, who previously held the post of coach and analyst of the main team. At first, the main goal of the team is to gain experience playing on the competitive scene, and later on, to get into the TOP-30 of the world ranking.
Cloud9 Academy is based on young players, some of whom have no experience of playing in the championships presented on the HLTV portal. Note that H1te already has rich experience of playing on the TIER-3 scene, playing for the Spirit Academy, IN.GAME and Unique teams. He will be accompanied by dekz and sm3t, who previously performed with CrowCrowd and SACRAMENTO, respectively.
The last players of Cloud9 Academy were sstr1ct and alpha, who had no experience of performing at the adult level before.
The experienced F_1N will train the team. The 38-year-old Russian specialist has worked with Gambit Esports teams for over three years, leading to victories at MSI Gaming Arena 2019, Eden Arena: Malta Vibes - Week 4 and Eden Arena: Malta Vibes - Week 5, among others.
It is unclear when and where the band will debut. However, given the messages under the post about the team's announcement, we should expect Cloud9 Academy to appear in the next season of the WePlay Academy League.
From now on, Cloud9 Academy's CS:GO roster is as follows:
- sstr1ct
- H1te
- alpha
- dekz
- sm3t
- F_1N (head coach)
