Thorin shared his opinion on the future of Virtus.pro
British esports analyst Thorin shared his opinion on the future of the Virtus.pro team in the "Snake & Banter" podcast. He noted that the team could have achieved much more, but failed to live up to expectations and broke up without becoming a contender for trophies.
The Vitus.pro roster disintegrated ingloriously. In the future, no one will remember this team. Their first tournament with FL1T was PGL Major Antwerp 2022 where they played well and finished in the quarterfinals. It seemed that these guys could not only be an annoyance to others, but actually succeed. This year there were games and even individual tournaments where the firepower of Vitus.pro was absolutely incredible.
Everything said that Virtus.pro, or rather Outsiders, should claim titles the way ENCE does. Perhaps she could become the new NAVI. None of the expectations came true. Firepower has gone down, and the playstyle hasn't looked as interesting as it used to. The stretch between the two majors is the missed window of opportunity for the Jame roster. Too bad it didn't work out.
Recall that the last championship for Virtus.pro, which played under the Outsiders tag, was PGL Major Antwerp 2022. According to its results, the team took 12-14th place, having won only one victory in the Legends stage.
Immediately after the championship, the organization announced changes in the roster, as a result of which YEKINDAR and buster left the team. According to rumors, fame and n0rb3r7, who until recently represented the colors of K23, will soon join the team.
The next tournament for the team will be ESL Pro League Conference Season 16, which will start in mid-June. By this time, the club should submit an updated squad.
The currentVirtus.pro (Outsiders) CS:GO roster is as follows:
- Jame.
- Qikert.
- FL1T.
- dastan (coach).
