Team Liquid intends to part ways with shox
According to the Dust2 portal, the European eSports organization Team Liquid intends to make changes to the CS:GO roster, parting ways with shox. As the source clarifies, the 29-year-old French player himself expressed a desire to leave the club.
shox joined Team Liquid at the end of last year, having moved from Team Vitality. Initially, this transition bordered on a lot of controversy, as the Frenchman's prospects in the team looked bleak. As a result, in six months, the 29-year-old French esportsman took fifth place in the PGL Major Antwerp 2022: American RMR, and also reached the quarterfinals in the ESL Pro League Season 15 and BLAST Premier: Spring American Showdown 2022.
While shox's performance is undoubtedly the main reason why Team Liquid agreed to part ways with the player, the Frenchman himself is unhappy with his position. shox is reportedly homesick for his family, having difficulty flying between North America and Europe.
The last championship for shox as part of Team Liquid was PGL Major Antwerp 2022, following which the team took 15-16th place after three losses in the Legends stage.
The nearest tournament for the North American team will be Intel Extreme Masters XVII - Dallas, which will start at the end of the month. Probably by this time the organization will try to find a replacement for the Frenchman, who is unlikely to want to stay in North America for another month.
The current Team Liquid CS:GO roster is as follows:
- EliGE.
- NAF.
- oSee.
- shox.
- nitr0.
- adreN (coach).
