James Banks opens up about beating after birthday party

Interviewer James Banks spoke of the beating after a birthday party in an Antwerp nightclub. Recall that the Briton celebrated his 32nd birthday last Friday, May 13.

I approached the taxi, a guy was walking towards me. He hit me on the head. I tried to stand up and figure out what was going on. The attacker immediately knocked down my leg, I fell to the ground, there were three guys. I couldn't get away so I did this[Banksshoweddefensivehandmovements]. They[begantobeat], one of them hit me in the balls. I felt like I was dying: I fell and passed out. Some guy ran up to me, he said to his mom: "This dude is unconscious."

The owner of the club called an ambulance, I woke up in the hospital. I was off.[When did you wake up?]At 13:00. When I woke up, I had no phone and no money. I went to the hotel and met Sasha[s1mple]. I told him: “Bro, you won’t believe what happened,” and he left the club a little earlier. To hell with this city[laughs].
