1WIN issued a statement regarding the behavior of fostar
The Russian esports organization 1WIN issued a statement regarding fostar's conduct. The club apologized for the statements of its player, and also announced the tightening of control over the actions and behavior of its cybersportsmen.
Our organization stands exclusively for a healthy sports spirit and respect for everyone who is close to eSports and CS:GO.
In the last matches on FACEIT, Stanislav "fostar" Ostashevsky behaved unsportsmanlikely and insulted his opponent in the match and his team.
Despite the fact that the conflict was resolved on the same day, it was decided to additionally fine the player from the organization. We believe that such behavior is unworthy of a professional player.
We had a conversation with Stanislav, and we will also continue to tighten control over the players and try to do everything possible so that this does not happen again.
The player himself has already apologized to opponents, fans and the organization, and added that the conflict has been resolved.
I would like to apologize once again, first of all to my opponents, for my behavior yesterday. I had no right to write nasty things, let alone get personal. We settled the conflict yesterday, we no longer have any claims to each other. I apologize, this will not happen again in the future. I also apologize to the organization and the fans of the team.
Recall that on the eve of fostar entered into a verbal skirmish with a player of the opposite team on FACEIT. Along with fostar, flamie was present on the server, which did not take part in the conflict.
fostar has been with 1WIN since January 2022. In three months, the 22-year-old Ukrainian esportsman helped the team take second place in the ESL Challenger League Season 40: Europe.
